I have tried many different sparkling wine stoppers and broken most of them or found they didn't keep the pressure. This one is the ONLY one that works and is durable. A real 1st class product. Reliable? I find they last for 2 years or so with good usage. Good luck. Erewin
Works for Beer Bombers TooJun 05, 2010
I use this to seal bombers (22oz - 750ml) of beer. Many premium brews are too strong for one sitting, or, when opening more than one for some variety, this device will allow the bottles keep their freshness and carbonation for a several days.
Well worth the cost and I'm ordering 4 more tonight.

These stoppers work. Champagne is the drink of choice in our house and saving half a bottle of veuve... the stopper pays for itself in one use. On RARE occasions we have left a quarter bottle stoppered for a week and the Champagne was almost perfect. I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it. The only downside is the stoppers wear out. For me they have lasted from a short dozen bottles to maybe a 100 on the long side. Figure on 25 and count anything else as a bonus. I buy them 6 at a time and give them to my champagne drinking friends... and then we have spares we visit, or one breaks (because it will). You have to learn how to use it... you can twist it air tight... but you can keep twisting. I think this is how people break them (including people in my own house).

The best wine bottle sealer I have ever used....I like it so much I have sent them to all my friends as gifts. Easy to use, provides a super seal, no levers to push, just twist and seal, adjusts to a wide range of bottle sizes!

I bought this same exact stopper at Bed, Bath & Beyond (not through Amazon). I worked great for about 1 year, then left it on a bottle of champagne for several months only to open the fridge and find it broken. It would no longer seal/tighten inside any bottle of champagne. In short, works well for a while, but eventually you will have to buy a new one.
